Courage is a Choice

Petra Jasmiina knows a thing or two about being courageous. The singer-songwriter is originally from Finland and moved to New York City to pursue her music career. After the release of her debut album, Cygnet, she's been touring New York's legendary music venues, such as Pete's Candy Store and Pianos. She proves that bravery doesn't just mean facing your fears. It's finding your calling AND running towards it, even when it's 4,000 miles away from home.

Her music combines elements of pop, indie, and folk, with a special focus on lyrics and storytelling. Her influences range from Taylor Swift, Ellie Goulding, Halsey, and Florence, & The Machine. Petra is also currently recording a full-length album, set to be released in 2022 and her latest single, YCHM, tells an honest story of self-love.
